The NSMART ticketing system
Tickets use the NSMART system: personalized NSMART cards, the mobile app and an e-wallet. Non-personalized tickets (single ride and paper daily) need no card.

Reduced-fare and free categories
For residents of the City of Novi Sad, transport is free or subsidized for the following categories:
- Citizens over 65
- Blind and visually impaired people and people with disabilities (paraplegia, dystrophy, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis…) and their companions
- Children with developmental difficulties and their companions
- People on dialysis and with transplanted organs
- War and civilian war invalids
- Voluntary blood donors (women 50+ times, men 100+ times)
- Children from families with three or more children
- Students with disabilities
- People with rare diseases (haemophilia, cystic fibrosis…)
Notes
- Children under 6 travel free.
- Changing the card type (e.g. worker ↔ citizen) is done at the NSMART centre — 400 dinars, once a year free of charge.
- Subsidized transport for pupils and students: top up your entitlement at counter no. 14 at the Bus Station.
