Public transport tickets and fares in Sarajevo
Trams and trolleybuses in Sarajevo are run by KJKP GRAS, city and suburban buses by GRAS and Centrotrans. Tickets are valid on every mode; Sarajevo Canton subsidises the single ticket.
How to pay
Tickets are sold at kiosks and on board; electronic cards (GRAS, CentroCard) are topped up at sales points, at centrocard.ba and in the Centrocard app. Night services are free for everyone.

- Single ticket (zone A) — BAM 2.20 with the Canton subsidy (full price BAM 2.50)

Free and discounted travel
Free or discounted travel usually requires residence in the city and a card issued by the city or the operator:
- Primary and secondary pupils and full-time students — free
- Pensioners with income up to BAM 600 — free; higher incomes pay BAM 5–35 per month
- War veterans with disabilities and families of fallen soldiers — free
