Tickets and fares for public transport in Užice

Public transport in Užice is organised by JP “Užice razvoj”, and the network is split into four zones — from the inner city to distant settlements towards Kremna and Bioska. Primary school pupils travel free.

How to pay for the ride

Single tickets are paid on board and depend on the zone, while regular passengers use monthly passes issued with an ID card at the city transport office (Vukole Dabića 1-3).

Free and subsidised travel

For residents of the City of Užice, travel is free or subsidised in the following cases:

primary school pupils — the monthly pass is free
residents over 75 — free travel
people with disabilities and serious illnesses (paraplegia, cancer, etc.)
voluntary blood donors (women with 20+ and men with 50+ donations)
pensioners over 65 with a pension of 40,001–45,000 RSD — subsidised, 3,000 RSD for 12 months

The zone depends on the distance — inner-city rides are zone 1, while suburban lines towards Kremna, Bioska and Karaići fall into higher zones.
ID cards and monthly passes are issued at the city transport office, Vukole Dabića 1-3, 3rd floor.
