Public transport service change due to works in Crnotravska Street

During the reconstruction of the district heating distribution network in Crnotravska Street, public transport lines will operate under a changed regime. The works are being carried out in phases and involve the following changes:

Overview of works by phase

• Phase 2 (from 1 June to 12 June 2026): The works continue on from the existing ones and cover the next 80 metres, looking towards the city. During this phase, the right-hand side of the pavement (towards the city) will be occupied, which will not affect the operation of public transport vehicles.

• Phase 3 (from 13 June to 2 July 2026): The works continue on from Phase 2 and cover the next 150 metres, looking towards the city. The right carriageway lane (towards the city) will be occupied, and public transport vehicles will pass through the work zone using the remaining width of the roadway, which will operate in both directions.

• Phase 4 (from 3 July to 27 July 2026): The works continue on from Phase 3 and cover the next 200 metres, looking towards the city. During this phase the right carriageway lane is also occupied, and public transport traffic will run in both directions on the remaining width of the roadway.

Change to trolleybus lines

⚠️ Shortened route: During all the phases listed above, trolleybus line 40 will operate on a shortened route to the old „Banjica“ turning loop.

Temporary stop relocation (during Phase 3)

As part of the Phase 3 works, the „Vojnomedicinska akademija (VMA)“ bus stops are temporarily relocated:

• Towards the city: Relocated to a position about 55 metres after the regular position.

• Towards Banjica: Relocated to a position about 195 metres before the regular position.
