Yes. Departures are calculated from the weekday, Saturday and Sunday timetables, and ride durations from measured per-hour times for every segment — so a rush-hour ride is realistically estimated as slower than one at night.

Can I plan a trip for later or for the weekend?

Yes. Besides departing "Now" you can pick an exact departure date and time, or the "Anytime" option, which shows which route is generally best and how long the trip typically takes on a weekday.

Does the planner work at night too?

Yes. After midnight it calculates with night lines and their departures, and if it is faster to wait for the first morning departure — it will suggest that as well.

What if a line is currently not running?

Accepted Answer

Lines that are temporarily suspended are automatically excluded from suggestions while the suspension lasts, so the planner never recommends a ride that is currently impossible.
