Bus line 77 rerouted until the end of August due to roadworks in New Belgrade

Roadworks in Dr Žorž Matea Street in New Belgrade will bring a temporary change to traffic arrangements as well as a different route for bus line 77. According to the Secretariat for Public Transport, the changes take effect today, 24 July, and will remain in place until 31 August.

The works involve closing the right-hand traffic lane in Dr Žorž Matea Street, in the direction of Tošin bunar, along a stretch of roughly 50 metres near the junction with Marije Bursać Street. Vehicles will pass through the work zone using the remaining width of the road, with traffic released alternately and regulated by temporary traffic lights.

Because of this arrangement, Marije Bursać Street will be closed at the junction, temporarily removing the link between that street and Dr Žorž Matea Street.

Buses on line 77 will run in both directions from Tošin bunar to the "Bežanijska kosa" terminus, without stopping until the Dom penzionera stop in Marije Bursać Street.
